Paediatric  ·  Mobile  ·  Logan & SE QLD  ·  Contractor

This is an invitation, not an ad.

If you've been looking for a way to do the work you love in paediatrics, on your terms and at your pace, you've found us.

We're Dundon Occupational Therapy Services, a small, mobile paediatric practice based in Meadowbrook, run by Co-Directors Cory and Lindsay Dundon. We work with children, young people and families across Logan, Jimboomba and South-East Queensland, and we absolutely believe in supporting families and supporting each other.

We're looking for an OT to join us: someone who wants the freedom of independent practice and the enrichment of a team that has your back. A collaborative point of connection you can use to both relish and buffer the myriad of experiences that come with being a therapist.

How would it look?

As a contractor, your schedule is yours. You decide when you work, where you work, and how you structure your week.

And you won't be starting from zero: we provide the referrals and the administrative resources. Your caseload comes to you, on your terms. The one thing we ask is a minimum of around eight clients a week, enough to give families real consistency and give you real momentum.

But here's what makes us different from just striking out on your own:

You'll have a practice behind you. Admin systems, clinical infrastructure, invoicing support, a referral network that brings the clients to you, and directors who are genuinely invested in your success: in work that's meaningful, in wrestling with problems, and in finding joy. This isn't just about your output. You'll have people to call when a case is challenging, colleagues to debrief with, and a culture where asking questions, fostering trust and questioning why things are done a certain way is celebrated. Let's just say Brené Brown is a heavy influence on our values.

We're offering what we want for ourselves: autonomy and choice, without isolation.

Because we believe well-supported therapists can do the work to support families and children. They can hold the hope and hold the path for progress, even when things are tough.

Who we're looking for

Honestly? We're less focused on how much experience you have, and more focused on who you are.

We're looking for someone who:

If you're an experienced clinician who wants the freedom and autonomy to do great work on your own schedule, wonderful. If you're earlier in your career and hungry to grow in a supported environment, also wonderful. We're open to both.

The pay: put simply, fair matters to us

You'll be entitled to your split on everything billable: sessions, reports, assessments, meetings, travel. No carve-outs.

Without formal mentoring Keep your own external supervisor65 / 35$126.09 / hr to you

We're not in the business of earning big money off other people. We want to be sustainable, and we want that for you too. It's how we've built this.

About the mentoring with Cory

Cory mentors several therapists externally to Dundon Occupational Therapy Services at her hourly rate. If you decide on the 60/40 split, you'll have access to formal weekly individual mentoring with Cory as part of working with us.

If you'd rather keep your external supervisor and take the 65/35 split, that's completely fine too. We support and encourage external supervision regardless. This is the beautiful part of having the choice.

What working with us actually looks like

We work with children across a wide range of presentations: sensory integrative processing differences, Autism, ADHD, developmental coordination disorder, developmental delay, mental health, parent coaching and early intervention needs, and more. You don't need to be expert in all of it. You need to be genuinely interested in learning, and honest about where you are.
