Empowering children and families with personalized occupational therapy support for a vibrant, fulfilling life.

About Us

About Us

Welcome to Dundon Occupational Therapy Services, where we are committed to providing specialised intervention for children and adolescents with a range of disabilities.

We are here to help individuals and families achieve their goals and truly reach their full potential.

We are a highly skilled husband and wife duo who have extensive experience and knowledge in a range of areas. While we don't put people in boxes, it may be useful that you know our areas of experience. Over the past 10 years we have worked closely with children and families facing neurodevelopmental conditions such as autism spectrum disorder, developmental delay and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. And in the last 5 years we have delved into extensive training across a wide range of mental health interventions to support the growing number of children we were seeing with depression, anxiety and developmental trauma. We feel quite at home supporting children facing challenges with emotional regulation difficulties, motor skill delays and difficulties with social participation.

At Dundon Occupational Therapy Services, we believe that meaningful interventions are tailored to the unique needs of each our clients. Our interventions are designed to address the specific challenges faced by the young people and families we work alongside, and to help them develop skills and strategies to overcome these challenges.

We find empowering caregivers to be the most impactful work we do, and look to meet each family where they are in their journey. We take a neurodevelopmental approach, meaning the specific needs of each individual are assessed and supported based on their developmental stage, strengths, and challenges - not their age.

We celebrate neurodiversity where individuals can forge a meaningful life no matter how their brain is wired. No matter the brain and how it's wired, our treatment approach is collaborative, respectful and above all meaningful.

The Pattersons

We love working with Lindsay individually and as a family. Lindsay has taught us both a lot about ourselves, parenting styles and how and why we parent the way we do including the good, bad and I guess ugly haha and ways to correct many of the things we do with Camdyn even if it’s things we don’t recognise or understand we are doing, this includes communication with each other. Lindsay has helped us with learning ways to better communicate and understand Camdyn that are much more clear and effective and ways to better support Camdyn at home, school, public etc. Lindsay has had a positive impact on our family as a whole. We wouldn’t be where we are today without the positive impact Lindsay has had on all of us.
